Another great expedition! This was my third time with Namas and it exceeded expectations.
The kindness, skill, and unity of the Namas team was palpable all the time. They again proved to be super-efficient, resourceful, always with a smile, and radiating great team spirit. The sherpas were outstanding. Kind and helpful, with great skill and insight and a good sense of humor. A lot of them knew each other, it had a family feel to it.
Paljor who helped me last year on Himlung Himal is such a great chap. Rental gear was good, a warm comfy Kailash sleeping bag, Black Diamond crampons, and Harness and helmet. Basecamp set up was excellent and well organised. A nice roomy tent for each and a great communal-dining tent in stunning location.
We pushed up high quite fast because of a short favourable weather window and finished the expedition a week ahead of schedule! A tough but very interesting mountain. Recommended. I especially got to appreciate and love ‘the wall’, between basecamp and camp 1.
It was great to have Bisesh as a team member! Looking forward to my next expedition with Namas.

I successfully submitted Himlung Himal with Namas in October, and I cannot say good enough things about my experience. From the very first they were prompt in answering my many questions with detailed answers. During the expedition itself, the team was very organized with much attention paid to the clients’ wellbeing as we climbed in altitude. Base camp was surprisingly comfortable, and I ate better there than at home. All of the guides were very friendly, experienced, and made the trip a lot of fun. I will definitely be using them for my next expedition.

2023 Khumbu Three Peak Fall Expedition

I recently completed the Khumbu 3 peaks challenge and it was by far the most amazing experience of my life !
Don’t be fooled with into thinking it was easy though, it was a serious CHALLENGE!
However the whole experience from start to finish was completely faultless, everything is taken care of and ran smoothly with no Hikkups throughout the stay in Kathmandu, flight to lukla, trek, climb, tea house stays ect….
Best experience I could have asked for and I’d recommend to absolutely anyone to use this amazing company, trekking✅ climbing✅ whatever it is you wanna do it will be brilliant !

Himlung Himal April/May 23 Expedition. From the initial enquiry to Namas Adventures the communication process was first class - I had many questions and emails in the months prior to the trip and nothing was too much trouble and responses were quick. From arrival to departure in Nepal I felt safe and looked after (I spent a fair bit of time travelling alone with my Namas Advs guide). Safely was always a top priority for the Namas team and that is so important. Namas' Sherpas were all highly experienced and knowledgeable in mountaineering and the base camp kitchen staff were just amazing and we were super well fed. The organisation attention to detail was excellent and I really enjoyed the 4 week adventure. Unfortunately we could not summit due to weather but the entire experience with Namas Adventures comes highly recommended.

Looking for some mountain experience with a little extra support - Namas offered us a unique trip featuring 3 days of introductory mountaineering training. Pega and Pemba were fantastic the whole time, genuinely invested in our learning experience from the early days in the trip, answering endless questions and patiently explaining technical and safety information. We were SO well looked after by both them and our team of porters over the 10 days, managing variable mountain conditions and adapting the trip to our preferences. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Namas to anyone looking to book a trip to Nepal for either the first time or a return venture.

Doubting which guide/company to choose when going to Nepal? Choose Namas!
From my first thoughts and idea to go to Nepal to leaving Nepal again, Namas will take care of you very well. Bisesh answered every single email and question I asked about the preparation, equipment, planning, booking, etc, and there were a lot of questions I asked! When going on a big (and costly) expedition like the Khumbu Three Peaks expedition you want to have a comforting feeling, Namas gave that.
My arrival in Nepal was smooth with my airport pickup, first nights in Kathmandu, and a pre-expedition briefing. When the weather was not in our favor to go by plane or by helicopter they came up with an alternative to going by jeep and Namas informed me well by arranging it. They have a good local network and the ability to switch and change when flexibility is needed!
My reliable guides Karma Rita Sherpa and Mingma Thsering Sherpa had lots of experience and expertise in the high mountains. Even as a novice climber without experience I felt safe. They took great care of me by choosing the right teahouses, serving my food and tea, fixing our climbing equipment, and warming our hands, even at 6000+m. Thanks to them I successfully made it to all three summits.
If I’ll ever go back to Nepal for another expedition I’ll for sure contact Namas again!
Baruntse 7129M / Mera Peak 6476M Expedition (2022)
Excellent organisation by Bisesh and the Namas team. The sherpas were A+ in terms of attitude and helpfulness. Everything was taken care of and the communication leading up to the trip was top-class. I have no hesitation in recommending Namas to anyone else. They accommodate all.

This was our first trip to Nepal and our first time climbing 6000m plus peaks so we had lots of questions. Namas always replied quickly with all the relevant information which put us at ease. Their service was second to none.
The Sherpas and Porters are a real credit to Namas and I cannot praise them highly enough. They looked after us showing kindness, compassion, and strength that I will be forever thankful for. Their knowledge of the mountains was second to none and they work so hard to make sure their clients have the best experience possible. This may have been our first trip to Nepal but it won't be the last.

I have a very high opinion of Namas and his team, they are highly recommendable. Namas is probably the company that provides the best info about its expeditions, and Bisesh has been extremely helpful in clarifying my endless doubts before the trip. He also helped me get in Katmandu some key pieces of equipment I was not able to buy back home.
Another key differential of Namas has been their 1:1 client: sherpa support. The 5-men sherpa team, under wise Kami Temba Sherpa´s leadership, has not only been extremely competent but also super kind and always with a smile on their faces. They were constantly taking care of us, I felt very safe under their supervision, and my special gratitude to Dawa "Annapurna" Sherpa ("my" sherpa). All went well during the more than three weeks of the expedition, even when the bad weather didn´t help.

Namas Himlung Himal Exped October 2022. Wow, what a trip. Really enjoyed it.
Bisesh always answered the never-ending pre-trip queries speedily and adequately. Suggestions were taken on board seriously and creatively. Lakpa's help in Kathmandu with equipment, hotel and transport was excellent.
The rental equipment was first class. I loved the Kailas sleeping bag, very warm and comfy. All equipment on the trip was good quality with a good size private tent for each at basecamp.
The smooth-running engine of the expedition was the 5-man sherpa team, headed by Kami Temba Sherpa. His English is excellent, he is a good communicator and organiser, insightful, and creative when bad weather seemed to put a spanner in the wheels at the start of the expedition.
We had 1:1 sherpa support and they were all great, with a smile on their faces, a good sense of humor, and unfailingly helpful! Without hesitation, I can highly recommend Namas.

Himlung Himal 7126M Expedition (2022)
From the first email until the end of the expedition, Namas Adventure team was extremely helpful, flexible and easygoing. Every single question got answered before the trip (and there were many!) and replies were prompt. The Sherpa team was very professional and friendly and although they worked hard they did it with a smile on their face.
Rental gear was high quality, I was particularly happy with the sleeping bag. Very warm and comfy!
Everything was organized well and although we faced some delays and changes of plans due to bad weather, I felt like everything was under control and there was always at least plan b and c ready.
I highly recommend Namas Adventure!

It was a privilege to be part of this well-organized expedition. Base camp was very comfortable. Nice group of experienced, driven, and skilled Sherpa’s with countless 8000-meter climbs to their name. The attitude of founder Bishesh (for this occasion participant and expedition coordinator) was very casual, flexible, and pleasant. Would definitely recommend Namas.

Baruntse and Mera Peak Expedition (2021)
Our expedition to Mera and Baruntse was an amazing experience in every way, even when things didn’t go to plan. The itinerary was complex, taking us off the beaten path into some really remote country and attempting two different mountains. The Namas team organized it all flawlessly. They consistently hit the sweet spot between luxe and local, providing high-quality logistics while keeping things very Nepalese. And true to their ethical commitment, it was clear that they dealt fairly with the locals, who all seemed happy to be working with us.
On the trail Bisesh was a fine cultural guide and an easy traveling companion. Lead guide Noor was endlessly thoughtful and kind, as well as a super-solid technical leader with full IFMGA certification. Our basecamp cook was a master, and even our young porters we hope to see working up to guiding roles soon.
But while we were at altitude the pandemic was catching up to Nepal. Kathmandu was in lockdown, all international flights canceled. When an infection scare affected another team we had to break camp and change plans. The team proved very flexible and open in handling the uncertainty and delays that followed, as we waited it out in the mountains, then made a run for Kathmandu. Bisesh was critical in getting me out of the country, from working personal connections to secure seats on a charter flight, to lining up covid tests and the necessary paperwork.
Throughout these ups and downs Bisesh and the team were supportive, communicative, collaborative, and calm, as well as good company. I’d recommend them without hesitation, and personally I’m looking forward to returning soon for further adventures.

“ We trekked to EBC in April 2019. The Namas team was incredibly organised. There were some changes to the flights to Lukla but they made sure we were informed of our choices and made travel changes accordingly to fit everyone's schedule.
This trek was hard for me personally. We had two guides, Uncle Lopsang and Bisesh Dai.
They were both very patient and understanding. As the trek became more difficult, they kept assessing my ability to continue and encouraged me to keep going. I made it to EBC at the end but only because they looked after me very well.
The itinerary changed a little bit in order for us to get more rest on some days. That was very thoughtful and I really appreciate the extra time in Namche.
Both guides were entertaining, full of facts and very helpful during the trek and made sure everyone was looked after well. I am very glad we chose Namas Adventure because they helped me achieve something that I thought was impossible.
Bisesh Dai spoke a little about the Company's plans to increase pay for the porters who did a lot of the hard work. I am glad Namas Adventure is a social conscious company and look for ways to be fair to those involved in the experience.

2024 Baruntse 7129M Expedition

Having just submitted Baruntse with NAMAS I have nothing but praise for the entire team. The expedition ran smoothly and effectively allowing me the best chance of summit success.
In preparation for the expedition Bisesh answered countless questions and provided all the necessary information ensuring I was as prepared as possible. The highly skilled and competent Sherpa team ensured our comfort and safety both during the trek in and on the mountain. Basecamp was made as comfortable as possible with individual tents, a mess tent and hardworking kitchen staff who exceeded all expectations by providing the most delicious and nutritious meals.
The Sherpa support was second to none. Lead Sherpa Paljor managed the logistics meticulously and went to great lengths to ensure I was as well prepared as possible for the summit push, including lending me his glove liners! He ensured my safety throughout and had his finger on the pulse at all times from base camp. I undoubtedly owe my summit success to Saila Tamang and Chewang Sherpa. As well as being incredibly kind, patient and attentive they are highly competent and skilled mountaineers whose judgement I trust implicitly. I felt safe on the mountain despite its hostility and objective dangers. I feel incredibly fortunate to have achieved the summit and it was a huge privilege to do so with such a proficient team who have taught me countless mountain skills to take forward to future expeditions.
